When the String Cheese Incident came to Red Rocks Ampitheater, thousands of crazy-loving festival freaks followed with hula hoops in hand. Unlike most folks, many of these folks have seen fire poi at Burning Man or Rainbow Gatherings.
It was a great opportunity to show the strikenly unussual fire arts Firemancer is known for. They ended up loving it so much, they put us on main stage with the band. And when Melinda lit up her hula hoop, well...

A sold-out audience of over 6300 went crazy! Then hyperfans, sword, double staff, fans, fingers... It was an amazing rush to feel the energy of the crowd both nights!
Many, many thanks to Stefan for securing everything we needed. And a special thanks to both fire marshalls who very thoroughly checked all our safety measures. Bob would be proud! :)
